Universal Handling Equipment Vertical Balers are built to provide maximum safety. All units have counter balanced pull down safety gates not only for ease of operation, but to prevent "run-away" door accidents. Similarly, all Universal Handling Equipment Vertical Balers have side mounted lock hinge assemblies that prevent front doors from opening prematurely. Operating the door MUST be done from the side. Most important is our design of the ram guides.

Universal Handling Equipment Vertical Baler ram guides prevent the platen from cocking when the chamber is unevenly loaded. In addition to incorporating our own safety features, we meet all ANSI safety requirements.

Universal Handling Equipment offers 3 Vertical Baler Models. Choose from the 36", 48" or 60" model which feature automatic bale sizing and semi-automatic ejection. Each unit is designed with a heavy-duty frame and full length hinged doors to withstand the rigors of its task.

The platen is constructed of 4" structural channel with a 1" wide space to allow fast insertion of bale wire. To provide a larger baling area to receive the next load, Universal Handling Equipment has incorporated in its design retainer dogs to hold baled material down.
